On Sunday, 04.02.2024, the founding meeting of the “Representation of the Interests of Smallholder Agriculture” took place in Sammarei near Vilshofen in the district of Passau. According to media reports, the meeting was attended by functionaries and people associated with the AfD. The venue was the restaurant “Kirchenwirt”, which has been leased by Passau’s AfD city councillor Robert Schregle for some time.
A journalist who wanted to observe the event was yelled at directly before it started and was asked to leave the event. The innkeeper (Robert Schregle) then forcibly pushed the journalist out of the building, causing the journalist to injure his ankle. Schregle was then charged with assault. A journalist photographing the outdoor area was verbally threatened several times, sometimes in the presence of the police.
