Current situation: Uncertain financial situation.
At the turn of the year, we have had to repeatedly experience how uncertain and precarious the situation of the counselling service is or can become due to the unclear financial situation: As was the case last year, we are also uncertain this year whether our work can continue in the new year and have to again face the possibility of being unemployed at the start of the year. This also creates great uncertainty for our clients, who fear no longer receiving counselling and being left without support.
This uncertainty poses major challenges for us. For victims of right-wing, racist, and anti-Semitic violence, reliability and stability are especially important!
Goal: Financial independence to ensure seamless counselling services.
The budget situation can repeatedly place us in this uncertain position. As long as the funding for the counselling service is largely provided through government grants, we are dependent on who is in power and how the funding is allocated.
For this reason, it is crucial that the sponsoring organisation B.U.D. e. V. is on solid financial ground. Furthermore, this financial independence is essential for us to remain impartial and free of charge in supporting the victims.

B.U.D. e.V. has been recognised as a non-profit association, meaning donations are tax-deductible in Germany. For donations up to 300 €, the bank statement is sufficient as proof. For higher donations, we are happy to issue a donation receipt.
