The annual report contains the most important facts and figures on our counseling work in 2023, for example on counseling requests, motives or groups of victims. This brochure focuses on some cases of official misconduct and secondary victimization of those affected, despite significant progress in the responsiveness of authorities to those affected. Some of these cases and the effects of official actions on those affected are being described and contributions of those affected themselves added.

Dieser Ratgeber richtet sich an Menschen, die eine rechts oder rassistisch motivierte Gewalttat erlebt haben, an deren Angehörige und Freund*innen sowie an Zeug*innen eines Angriffs. Der Ratgeber will dabei helfen, sich in einer nicht alltäglichen Situation zurechtzufinden, sollte aber nicht grundsätzlich ein Beratungsgespräch ersetzen.

Perspectives after a Right-Wing or Racial Attack; Your Rights and Options as a Victim, Relative or Witness

This guidebook aims to help victims of right-wing or racist violence, as well as their friends, relatives and witnesses to the attack. People who are the targets of such attacks suddenly find their world turned upside down; often they’re injured and afraid. Suddenly they have to deal with the police, make unexpected decisions and seek answers to questions they’ve never needed to ask before: What happens after a police report has been filed? What is a request for prosecution? Do I need a lawyer? What is the difference between a criminal case and a civil suit?

Perspectives après une agression d’extrême droite à caractère raciste, homophobe ou antisémite; Vos droits et possibilités en tant que victimes, témoins, parents ou proches

Ce guide s’adresse aux personnes qui ont fait l’expérience de la violence d’extrême droite. Il s’adresse aussi à leurs familles, amis ou proches ainsi qu’aux témoins de ces agissements. Ceux qui font l’expérience de ces actes se trouvent souvent arrachés à leur vie quotidienne et sont parfois blessés et effrayés. La confrontation avec la police amène souvent la personne concernée à prendre des décisions imprévues dans un temps court. Des questions Nouvelles se présentent à elle: Que se passe-t-il après le dépôt d’une plainte? Qu’est-ce qu’un réquisitoire? Ai-je besoin d’un avocat, d’une avocate? Ou encore: Quelle différence y a-t-il entre un procès pénal et une action civile?

This guide provides information on ways to react and reasonable precautions.

Antirassistische Initiativen und Gedenkpolitik

Mit dieser Broschüre möchte das Bündnis Tag der Solidarität – Kein Schlussstrich Dortmund einige der antirassistischen Initiativen und Bündnisse in Deutschland vorstellen. Ihr Engagement hat viele Gemeinsamkeiten: Sie halten das Gedenken an die Betroffenen aufrecht, solidarisieren sich mit den Opfern rechter Gewalt und ihren Angehörigen, fordern Aufklärung und Konsequenzen.

Gefördert wird die Broschüre von der Rosa-Luxemburg Stiftung NRW.

Rechte Angriffe im Netz.

Auswirkungen und Handlungsempfehlungen.

Die fachspezifischen Opferberatungsstellen Opferperspektive e.V. (Brandenburg), SUPPORT der RAA Sachsen e.V. (Sachsen) und ZEBRA aus Schleswig-Holstein haben im Mai 2021 eine Broschüre veröffentlicht, die sich insbesondere an Engagierte aus der Zivilgesellschaft sowie an Politiker*innen der demokratischen Parteien richtet, die aufgrund ihres politischen Engagements zur Zielscheibe von rechten, rassistischen und antisemitischen Angriffen im Netz werden.

Anhand von Praxisbeispielen aus der Beratungsarbeit der Opferberatungsstellen werden sowohl die Auswirkungen von rechten Angriffen im digitalen Raum als auch die Möglichkeiten, sich vor Angriffen zu schützen, sich mit Hilfe von Beratung und/oder der Justiz gegen die Angreifer zu wehren und Erste-Hilfe-Maßnahmen beschrieben.

Diese mehrsprachige Handreichung informiert in zehn Sprachen über wichtige Sofortmaßnahmen für den Fall rassistischer Gewalt. Eine klare Struktur, einfache Formulierungen und begleitende Illustrationen erhöhen die Verständlichkeit. So können Menschen, die auch in ihrer Muttersprache nicht über ausreichende Lesekompetenzen verfügen, die Inhalte besser erfassen. Die Handlungsempfehlungen werden übersichtlich strukturiert auf einer Doppelseite pro Sprache behandelt.

Die Handreichung ist in folgenden Sprachen verfügbar: Deutsch, Englisch, Französisch, Arabisch, Kurmanyi, Farsi, Pashto, Tigrinya, Albanisch und Romanes.

Hass im Netz ist nicht Teil des Jobs

Ein Leitfaden zum Umgang mit digitaler Gewalt

 

Mit dieser Broschüre richtet sich die Beratungsstelle HateAid an Kommunalpolitiker*innen und alle, die sich vor Ort engagieren. Sowohl präventive Schutzmaßnahmen als auch Handlungsmöglichkeiten in akuten Situationen werden den Betroffenen von digitaler Gewalt aufgezeigt. Auch rechtliche Maßnahmen und mögliche Hilfestellungen durch Institutionen und Arbeitgeber werden thematisiert.

„Hass im Netz ist nicht Teil des Jobs“ wurde im Rahmen des Begleitprojekts „Digitale Gewalt: Aufsuchende und ganzheitliche Beratung von kommunal Engagierten“ produziert und aus Mitteln des Bundesministeriums für Familie, Senioren, Frauen und Jugend im Rahmen des Bundesprogramms „Demokratie leben!“ gefördert.
