Attempted murder on the Stone Bridge in Regensburg

The 20-year-old victim was seriously injured when he fell onto a bridge pillar. He has since been able to leave the hospital. The police are investigating for attempted murder.

Attack by group of neo-Nazis

On the evening of april 15th 2023, a man was attacked in a bar by a group of four neo-Nazis from the Schwandorf district. Around 10:30 p.m., the 22-year-old man was leaving the toilet of a bar when he was attacked by four people. As a result, he suffered injuries to his head, upper body and legs. The police arrested a 44-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man, the other two attackers were able to escape. According to police and media reports, the victim is of Afghan origin. As a counselling centre, we therefore assume that the motivation for the crime is racist. The attackers belong to the neo-Nazi group “Bollwerk Oberpfalz”, which appears several times in the Bavarian secret service report. The Mobile Counseling against Right-Wing Extremism (Mobile Beratung gegen Rechtsextremismus) told B.U.D. that the group consists of around 15 people, most of whom also appear in uniform clothing and, above all, are well networked in the right-wing rock scene. Unfortunately, we have not yet been able to establish direct contact with the person concerned in order to offer him support.
