On the night of 15th/ 16th of august 2022, a 23-year-old from Kötz racistly insulted a man at the Volksfestplatz in Günzburg. When the victim was a little later in a location on the market square in Günzburg, he met the perpetrator again. A verbal altercation ensued, in the course of which the perpetrator again racially insulted the person concerned. Subsequently, the perpetrator hit the victim with a glass and injured him.
In March 2023, B.U.D. learned of this attack and unfortunately has still not been able to establish contact with the victim. The perpetrator has now been sentenced to a fine of 120 daily rates of 50 euros each, a total of 6000 euros, for insult and dangerous bodily injury.
